What does your shop do and how do you work with Drupal?

Volacci brings Drupal Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to mainstream companies, making them more competitive because of greater awareness on the Web. In 2007, Volacci developed the Drupal SEO Checklist module, which guides Website developers to better, comprehensive search optimization for their Drupal sites. Volacci continues to develop innovative tactics for marketing campaigns and conversion tactics. Volacci CEO, Ben Finklea, recently released Drupal 6 Search Engine Optimization, a 260-page book on search engine optimization for the leading CMS. Volacci spearheads optimization of Drupal.org with hands-on tactics, training, and webinars for the open source community. Volacci performed dozens of successful SEO and PPC campaigns using its revolutionary processes and procedures.

How did you first get involved in Drupal development?

When Ben first started the business, he was building and marketing websites. He tried a few different platforms to figure out which was best for search engine optimization (SEO), and landed on Drupal. Since then, we have dropped the development and only focus on marketing Drupal sites online.

What type of work and/or websites do you specialize in?

We specialize in search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) campaign management, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and creating and managing content. We work with a wide variety of clients. Some are Fortune 500's, a few are ecommerce sites, and others are local professional services companies.

What are you most looking forward to at DrupalCamp Colorado?

Besides the weather, thin air, and Beau Jo's Pizza? I'm always excited to get together with the Drupal community. You get to see old friends, meet new ones, learn a ton, and build relationships. For me, relationships are #1.

Is there anything else you'd like our attendees to know?

Education is big for us. We want to share as much knowledge as we can during the conference. Don't hesitate to ask us anything. We also have a partner program that some people aren't aware of. I'll probably do a BOF one day to help people get familiar with it.
