Grammy.com: Scaling Drupal with Varnish and Content Delivery Networks

A typical site with some 50 contributed modules might only handle a dozen requests a second, but with proper configuration and server-side software, Drupal can scale to hundreds or thousands of requests a second.
This session will be breaking down the performance strategy used to power the Grammy Awards website, which endured a mind-blowing 230 million hits over 6 hours, with 15,000 new registered users over the same time period.
