Call for sessions and schedule

The Sessions page now lists submitted sessions, but we're in need of more proposals. If you have an idea for something you'd like to talk about please submit a session proposal soon. We've set the deadline for session proposals at May 26th Update: June 2nd!

At this point it looks like we could use some more beginner sessions, such as an introduction to Drupal and beginner themeing. These sessions are often very popular and we're expecting a healthy amount of newcomers to Drupal in attendance.

On May 26th we'll open up session voting for about two weeks. On the 14th of June we'll publish the list of selected sessions and hopefully the schedule for each day. Sessions will be selected for DrupalCamp Colorado based mostly on community vote popularity. Less popular sessions may be selected to offset the possible bias of voters who are not Drupal newcomers and thus vote up more advanced sessions. Last year, of the close to 50 proposed sessions, only about eight were not selected. There's a good chance that if you propose a session, it will be selected.

Finally, I'd like to call attention to the great number of sign-ups we've had so far! We already have close to 100 people signed up for DrupalCamp Colorado! We've also had some great sponsors sign up as well.

See you June 26th and 27th!

I saw one already proposed as

I saw one already proposed as a general introduction to Drupal, so I made a follow-up proposal discussing building content types and such. I didn't know which track to put it in, though... "Community" is pretty ambiguous, so I picked "Development." But it's not really developer oriented...
